The Lopez Girls

I have been capturing the Lopez Girls for 4 years now...

Each year proves a bit challenging as Tea or Alexa decides they do not want to cooperate.  I just love that the camera loves Alexa {below} and she has a love hate relationship with my lens.  This is her captured at dinner as she "pouted" and pondered why her mom would not buy her something she wanted...

At any rate, we got some great shots.  We had a fun time "shopping" and then dining afterward.  Mom gets a wonderful Christmas Card out of the session to send to her Clients that they 

will love again this year~

 I look forward to what we will come up with next year!

Creative Kids!

While in Missouri I had the pleasure of photographing the Attwood and Plank Families.  These kids were SO fun and Creative!  Here are some of the shots that I love that were "all them" - they were amazing!

We came upon this "NO TRESPASSING" and the boys jumped into action!

Family Fun

I will admit that photographing families is not my MOST favorite thing to do.  I am not sure why.  I guess I just love the innocence and spontaneity of Children.  That being said, I LOVED photographing the families that I just had the pleasure of seeing in Lee's Summit, MO.  

This is the Timberlake/Thomas/Langenbahn Family.  One of the NICEST families on the planet! {Ultra good looking to boot}

I have known Larry and Vickie since I was born and grew up with their daughters Lisa and Julie.  I babysat Lisa's kids Morgan and Connor before I moved away.  So, as you can see it was a joy to capture lifelong friends.

I had an amazing time with Julie Klaasmeyer in Paola, KS.  I adore her as a person and her photography is amazing.  She helped me look at my work with a whole new set of eyes!  Thanks Julie!

Beauty Defined...

Hard to believe I was there on the day Morgan was born.  I have known her Mom since I was a wee one and I use to babysit her and her brother Conner.  I moved away from Missouri in 2000 when she was just a little girl and now she is all grown up!  What a joy to see her now as a beautiful young woman!  Capturing her beauty brought a warmth to my heart.  It was wonderful to be "back home" in Lee's Summit, MO and I hope to return very soon!
